Visit a different gallery district to explore 5 to 6 innovative exhibitions. See a mix of painting / photography / sculpture and installation art. Together we will discuss what artists are thinking about in 2020 . While some artists use their practice to respond to recent world events , others focus more on material experimentation and the use of new techniques and technology . * These classes involve some outdoor walking between stops , so please dress warmly & comfortable shoes .
From Basics to Bootcamp For every level artist ! We will cover the fundamentals of art language including line /shape & color . This includes drawing in proportion ,understanding the color wheel and learn how to build a painting .Students will complete 3 paintings [ StillLife/Abstract / Portrait ]all on their individual expressive level - while learning the art history background of each genre .* returning students will receive advanced assignments .
