Understanding Exposure

Regular price $1,260.00

Thursdays @ 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM. Class will be held in Carol’s Chelsea studio.

This course will be taught by Carol Dragon, an NYC based photographer. Dragon holds a BFA and MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work has been shown internationally and she has been a recipient of a number of grants. Earlier this year she was an artist at Princeton University.

Does the camera lie? Of course! The bigger questions when looking at photographs are "What does an image say?" and "How can you make your pictures speak?" Einstein said, "Imagination is intelligence". Photography gives you free reign. This workshop is designed for both beginner and intermediate level photographers, anyone who has a camera with manual settings for speed and aperture. These include SLR, mirrorless and range finder digital cameras. We will study camera techniques, home digital photography skills, and develop greater creative strengths. Each class will include hands on shooting practice.
