Pre-recorded course
Morning Prayers
With Frieda Yedid
Begin each day with meaning, focus, and spiritual connection through the study and practice of traditional morning prayers, blessings, and reflection.

Morning Prayers explores the structure, meaning, and beauty of the daily Jewish morning tefillot. Students become familiar with foundational prayers such as Modeh Ani, Birchot HaShachar, Pesukei D’Zimra, Shema, and the Amidah, while gaining insight into their historical origins, spiritual themes, and practical application. The course emphasizes both understanding and experience — helping students connect emotionally and intellectually to prayer through translation, discussion, and guided reflection. Topics may include gratitude, mindfulness, intention (kavanah), personal growth, and the role of prayer in daily life. Whether students are new to prayer or looking to deepen their connection, Morning Prayers offers a thoughtful and welcoming foundation for building a meaningful daily spiritual routine.
